Esther M. Paegar

Mrs. Paegar holds an MSc. in Computer Systems Applications from the American University,

Washington, D.C.; a BSc in Business Administration from Cuttington University College in Suakoko, Bong County, Liberia; Diploma, Economic and Social Policy Consulting, The Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), Ministry of Commerce of People’s

Republic of China, Beijing, China; a Certificate in NGOs Management & Development, Galilee International Institute of Management, Nahala, Israel; two certificates and a diploma in Public Procurement from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, United Kingdom. She has over fifteen years field and management experience related to donor funded projects and has worked in fourteen (14) of the fifteen (15) political sub-divisions of Liberia. Ms. Paegar has been the Executive Director of the Agency for Economic Development and Empowerment (ÆDE) since 2008. Under her aegis, several concept notes, project proposals, surveys and projects have been developed, implemented, supervised and monitored for a number of international and national organizations, including the World Bank, Oxfam GB, European Union, the International Labor Organization, and Shorebank USA. She was instrumental in the formation of two women led cooperatives, comprising of disadvantaged, underprivileged, grassroots, women and girls from slum communities around Monrovia.
